Where to Buy Riftbound TCG Cards?

Riftbound officially launched on October 31, 2025, and demand for Riot's first physical trading card game has been incredibly high. With several products already sold out, finding Riftbound cards at their original retail price can be tricky. Let's take a look at where and how you can buy Riftbound cards and what to expect.

How to Buy Riftbound TCG Cards

Official Riot Merch Store

The best place to start is the official Riot Games Merch Store. This is where Riot sells all their Riftbound products directly, and it's the most reliable way to get cards at their intended retail price. However, many items have sold out quickly, and when they do restock, they tend to go fast.

  • The Riot Merch Store currently has the three Origins Champion Decks (Jinx, Viktor, and Lee Sin) available for €20.99 each.
  • The Proving Grounds Starter Box, which includes four premade decks for Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi, is currently sold out.
  • Origins Booster Box (Out of Stock)

One thing to keep in mind is that all Riftbound purchases require you to log in with your Riot ID. There's also a limit of three units per Riot ID per print run, so you can't just buy unlimited copies of everything.

Find a Local Game Store

If you prefer to buy in person or want to avoid shipping fees, your best bet is to find a local game store that carries Riftbound. Riot has a store locator on their official Riftbound website. Just click on the "Find a Store" option in the top navigation bar, and you'll be able to search for stores near you.

The store locator is still showing a "beta" tag, which suggests it's in the early stages and might not have every store listed yet. Because of this, we recommend calling ahead before making the trip to confirm they actually have Riftbound products in stock.

Third-party retailers

If the official store and local shops don't work out, you can turn to third-party retailers and resale sites. The most popular option for TCG players is TCGPlayer. The downside of third-party retailers is that prices can be heavily marked up, especially for products that are sold out on the official store.

For example: The Proving Grounds Starter Box, had a retail price of $29.99 but is now being sold for much higher on resale sites. The Riftbound Worlds 2025 Bundle, which originally cost $99.99, is now going for over $380 on TCGPlayer. If you're not in a rush, it's better to wait for official restocks rather than pay scalper prices.

All Riftbound Products

Riot Games has released several different Riftbound products since launch. Here's a breakdown of everything that's currently available or has been released so far.

Proving Grounds Starter Box - €31.99

The Proving Grounds box is designed for new players who want to jump into Riftbound with friends. It includes four premade 54-card decks featuring Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi. This product is currently sold out on the Riot Merch Store but can be found through third-party sellers.

Origins Champion Decks - €20.99 each

Riot released three Origins Champion Decks: Jinx, Viktor, and Lee Sin. Each deck contains 56 cards, including three rares, and comes ready to play right out of the box. Inside, you'll also find a full-size paper playmat, one Origins booster pack, a foldable paper deckbox, and a booklet with rules and deck-building tips.

Origins Booster Packs

Each Origins booster pack contains 14 cards: 7 commons, 3 uncommons, 2 foil rares or better, and 1 foil of any rarity. Booster packs are the backbone of any trading card game, and they're essential if you want to upgrade your premade decks or start building custom strategies.

Origins Booster Box - $119.99

For players who want to open a lot of packs at once, the Origins Booster Box is the way to go. Each box contains 24 booster packs. This is one of the best ways to build up your collection quickly, especially if you're looking for rares or foils to upgrade your decks. Booster boxes are available through the Riot Merch Store when in stock, as well as local game stores and third-party retailers.

Arcane Box Set - €73.99

The Arcane Box Set is a special collector's product that includes exclusive art for six champions: Jinx, Vi, Heimerdinger, Viktor, Warwick, and Caitlyn. It also comes with a themed display box, making it perfect for collectors who want premium versions of their favorite Arcane characters. This product sold out quickly on the Riot Merch Store and is now primarily available through resale sites at marked-up prices.

Riftbound Worlds 2025 Bundle - €104.99

The Worlds 2025 Bundle was released as a limited edition product to celebrate the League of Legends World Championship and Riftbound's debut. It includes a foiled playmat, matching deckbox, card sleeves, a Panda Teemo promo card, and three oversized battlefield cards featuring the host cities of Worlds 2025 (Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu). This bundle launched on October 28 and sold out almost immediately. It's now trading on the secondary market for over $380.

What Should You Buy?

If you're new to Riftbound, the best place to start is with one of the premade decks. The Proving Grounds Starter Box is ideal if you want to play with friends, since it includes four decks and supports 2-4 players. Unfortunately, it's sold out right now, so your next best option is to grab a couple of the Origins Champion Decks. These come with everything you need to start playing, including a booster pack, a paper playmat, and a deckbox.

For players who already know how to play and want to start building their own decks, booster packs and booster boxes are the way to go.

Final Tips

Check the Riot Merch Store regularly for restocks. If you're buying from a local game store, call ahead to confirm they have what you need. And if you're shopping on third-party sites, compare prices across multiple sellers to make sure you're not overpaying.

Riftbound is still in its early days, and availability should improve as Riot continues to print more cards.
