There isn't much of a point analysing this tournament, as everyone is now turning their attention to Unleashed coming out soon. Instead, Atlanta could be considered a good summary of the Spiritforged set: Everyone tried to find a way to beat the Chaos - Fury tandem, even the developers, and failed.
Even after the ban list, Draven remained a top tier competitor. Indeed, The Glorious Executioner was the most popular legend in Atlanta on Day 1, Day 2 or once the Top 8 kicked off. Draven also had the best conversion rate among popular legends, trailing only his brother Darius to be first overall. Last, Draven probably should have won the entire event, if it wasn't for some unfortunate decisions in the finals, as the mix of pressure and fatigue started to weight on CTCG Koko Lopez.
That mistake will profit Annie, the only other legend in Spiritforged with multiple Regional Qualifier wins, after winning in Nanjing back in February. Together, Draven and Annie total 5 wins for the Fury-Chaos combination, against 4 for all the other legends combined, with Kai'sa, Ezreal, Irelia and Azir each winning one.
Overall, even if the Ban List did bring some balance towards the end, Spiritforged can be considered a rather unbalanced set. Most of the community saw the Chaos domain become a problem during the reveal season, while Draven's ability immediately popped out as an incredible draw engine.
Hopefully, Unleashed will be a little more balanced, even if Spiritforged was quite fun to follow.
