Everything Revealed at Riftbound GAMA Expo 2026 – Upcoming Sets & Cards

With Spiritforged already in players' hands, the Riftbound presentation at GAMA Expo focused on the three remaining sets planned for this year: Unleashed in May, Vendetta in July, and Radiance later in the year. Here's everything revealed about upcoming champions, new products, and release dates.

Riftbound Unleashed (Set 3) - May 2026

The third Riftbound set Unleashed officially confirmed its champion lineup at GAMA Expo. While we've known about Vi and Vex, the presentation revealed the other Legend champions joining the Unleashed roster.

Confirmed Legends for Unleashed:

  • Vi
  • Vex
  • Rengar
  • Master Yi (First repeat Legend)
  • Diana
  • Pyke

The announcement confirmed what many players suspected after seeing the Unleashed key art featuring Vi, Master Yi, LeBlanc, and Rengar. Interestingly, LeBlanc appears in the promotional artwork but isn't among the confirmed Legends, suggesting she might appear as a champion unit instead.

Legends yet to be confirmed:

  • Poppy
  • LeBlanc

Nexus Night promo revealed

Gamma Expo also previewed one of the exclusive Nexus Night promotional cards for Unleashed: Lee Sin Centered. The full Nexus Night promo lineup for Set 3 hasn't been revealed yet. We'll update this article once the complete list becomes available.

  • Release date: Unleashed launches on May 8th, 2026.

Riftbound Vendetta (Set 4) - July 2026

The new booster display box design for Vendetta was showcased at Gamma Expo and featured both Nasus and Renekton, though it is not confirmed whether they'll be Legends or regular champion units.

Confirmed information about Vendetta:

The set reduces the total number of Legends from 12 (as seen in Origins and Spiritforged) down to 9, making this the first Riftbound set with fewer champion Legends. The card count also shrinks to 166 total cards. Despite the smaller size, Vendetta will include over 50 showcase cards featuring alternate art and Overnumbered variants.

Confirmed Legends:

  • Akali
  • Ambessa
  • Mel
  • Shen (Common/Order domains)
  • Zed (Fury/Chaos domains)
  • Nasus (possibly)
  • Renekton (possibly)

If Nasus and Renekton both become Legends as the box art suggests, that would bring the total to seven confirmed Legends with two slots remaining unknown.

Overnumbered cards with connecting art

One of the coolest reveals for Vendetta was the new Overnumbered card series featuring connecting artwork. Four champions were shown:

  • Vi and Jinx (first pair with connecting art)
  • Jayce and Viktor (second pair with connecting art)

These aren't new champions; they're Overnumbered versions of cards from previous sets, but with brand new artwork designed to connect across both cards. The artwork will also be available as playmats and card sleeves when Vendetta launches in July, giving players multiple ways to enjoy the designs.

New product: Showdown Decks

A completely new product type for Riftbound, called Showdown Decks was also included in the presentation. These starter-friendly products are designed to help new players jump into the game with everything they need.

What's included in a Showdown Deck:

  • Two 56-cards preconstructed champion decks
  • Two booster packs
  • Two playmats
  • 1 Rulebook
  • MSRP: $34.99

The first Showdown Deck releases alongside Vendetta in July and features Zed vs. Shen. The second Showdown Deck launches with Set 5 (Radiance) and features Evelynn vs. Seraphine, confirming two more Legends for that set.

Riftbound Radiance (Set 5) - Late 2026

Radiance remains the most mysterious set on the 2026 roadmap, but the Showdown Deck announcement gave us our first confirmed champions for Set 5.

Confirmed Legends for Radiance:

  • Evelynn (via Showdown Deck announcement)
  • Seraphine (via Showdown Deck announcement)
  • Ekko (previously announced)

Beyond these three champions, Riot hasn't shared any other details about Radiance. No key art, no card reveals, and no specific release date. Expect more information to surface after Vendetta launches in July.
