A master of Ionia's ancient martial arts, Lee Sin is a principled fighter who channels the essence of the dragon spirit to face any challenge. Though he lost his sight many years ago, the warrior-monk has devoted his life to protecting his homeland against any who would dare upset its sacred balance. Enemies who underestimate his meditative demeanor will endure his fabled burning fists and blazing roundhouse kicks.
One of Runeterra's most furious brawlers, Lee Sin, has arrived in Riftbound through the Origins set, Lee Sin is a Calm and Body champion based around the Buff mechanic. As such, the Blind Monk will employ a midrange-ish unit-based strategy with the ability to use Calm spells as support.
This legend features a fairly straight-forward ability, which we will naturally pair with cards able to leverage a buff. OGN-164 and OGN-151 have emerged as the best choices, one rewarding you for buffing it every turn, while the other will turn your buff into a +3 rather than just one extra might.
There are other units to consider, such as OGN-157 or OGN-078, while any unit you want to protect will benefit since a buff adds one to its health pool.
Once a unit managed to stick on the board and starts scoring points, OGN-257 will leverage the Calm domain and its flurry of support cards to prevent the opponent from acting against said unit.
OGN-057, OGN-058 or OGN-046 will make it even beefier, while OGN-045 or OGN-077 add another layer of protection.
Overall, OGN-257 is very much a unit first, proactive type of legend, looking to get set on the board, dominate showdowns with beefy units, and prevent the opponent from removing our units with spells.

Lee Sin Signature Cards
All three cards see play in various Lee Sin builds, although OGN-078 tends to be cut more often than the other two. Indeed, the need to recycle a Calm rune can be a big investment in the mid-game, while the card typically takes too long to grow. To keep up with the pace, we are too often forced to use OGN-078 at 6 or 7 might, a bad deal compared to OGN-164's typical 8.
Because of that comparison, OGN-151 has become the chosen champion of the deck. While it is much weaker on its own, it is effectively a [6/8] with just one buffed unit by its side. Plus, the possibility to accelerate the card makes it a solid late game option, especially if we had buffed units waiting at our base already.
Last, OGN-258 has become a staple in most Lee Sin decks, representing a punishment to any opponent developing large units carelessly in the second part of the match. Indeed, as soon as two sizeable units with no possibility of a counter play present themselves, this spell will wreck your opponent's game plan.
There is a cute synergy with OGN-058, as you can buff the weaker of the two units in order to match the bigger's one might so they take out each other.
Lee Sin Staple Cards and Synergies
These four cards represent very well the key synergies in a Lee Sin deck. First, OGN-164 is our midsized unit we will use to contest battlefields and score points.
Typically, we will support it with Calm cards, keeping it safe from opposing removal spells, or helping it win showdowns with the likes of OGN-058.
Typically, this is the way to play until we reach 7 points, then investing our resources into holding a battlefield for the win. However, OGN-157 can represent an alternate win condition (so can OGN-129 or OGN-146) as we can ready our unit to conquer both battlefields in one turn.
