Undeterred by even the most dangerous and threatening of obstacles, Teemo scouts the world with boundless enthusiasm and a cheerful spirit. A yordle with an unwavering sense of morality, he takes pride in following the Bandle Scout's Code, sometimes with such eagerness that he is unaware of the broader consequences of his actions. Though some say the existence of the Scouts is questionable, one thing is for certain: Teemo's conviction is nothing to be trifled with.
Play Style
With Unleashed, Teemo has returned to its signature synergy : Hiding cards.
The Swift Scout seems to build for a strong early game, designed to grab initiative early on, and score through holding battlefields.
Once in the lead, Teemo will use hidden cards to keep the opponent guessing on the best way to navigate the situation. In that confusion, it is important to score every turn, building even more pressure as the scoreboard gets closer to 8. Eventually, the opponent will be forced to take risks, and fall into one of our traps.
Key Cards
There is only one list of Teemo with a strong performance at the moment, so we'll assume that will be the staple build going forward. That strategy is built around holding battlefields based OGN-288 and OGN-280, disrupting our opponent's hand or board through various tools from the Chaos domain, and hiding cards every turn.
OGN-121 and OGN-194 synergize very well together, making the 2-cost a key element of this deck's early game. Plus, considering the amount of hidden cards we run, the ability will likely take out most enemy units early on. Otherwise, we have plenty of ways to deal with small units, such as SFD-138, OGN-094 or UNL-078
Once in the lead, the deck will look to derail every comeback the opponent might attempt. To do so, SFD-145 will take care of large attackers, and can be paired with UNL-139 or UNL-141 to act as a removal.
The other key part is to not run out of gas too early, hence the inclusion of OGN-083 and OGN-264 for refill.
Competitive Status
Teemo got a big spotlight through its amazing to the top 8 of the first Unleashed regional qualifier. However, the legend also posted a 44% win rate in that same tournament. As such, it is difficult to gauge what the Swift Scout is really capable of.
The safest route is to test the top 8 list from Australia, and check whether it feels good once the surprise factor wears off.
