Riot Games revealed the full 2026 release schedule for Riftbound at PAX Unplugged, giving players a clear look at what's coming next for the trading card game. After Spiritforged launches in February, three more sets are planned throughout the year: Unleashed in May, Vendetta later in 2026, and Radiance at the end of the year. Each set will bring new champions, mechanics, and cards. Here's everything we know about the upcoming Riftbound sets and when you can expect them to release.
Upcoming Riftbound Sets
Riot has confirmed four major releases for Riftbound in 2026, starting with Spiritforged and ending with Radiance. Each set will follow the same pattern as Origins and Spiritforged, with new champion legends, mechanics, and collectible cards.
Riftbound: Spiritforged (Set 2)
- Release Date: February 13, 2026 (English) | December 12, 2025 (China)
Spiritforged is the second set for Riftbound and the first official expansion after Origins. The set includes 221 new cards and introduces 12 new champions, including Azir, Irelia, Draven, Lucian, Renata Glasc, Sivir, Ezreal, Fiora, Rumble, Jax, Rek'Sai, and Ornn. Fiora is the only returning champion from Origins, meaning the rest are completely new to the game. Spiritforged also includes 30 Overnumbered cards, with 12 of them featuring Signature variants.
The set launches first in China on December 12, 2025, with the English version following on February 13, 2026.
Riftbound: Unleashed (Set 3)
- Release Date: May 2026
Unleashed is the third set for Riftbound and will launch in May 2026. Not much information has been revealed about this set yet, but the splash art shown at PAX Unplugged gives us some clues about which champions will be included. The artwork features Vi, Master Yi, LeBlanc, and Rengar, suggesting that these four champions will be included in the set.
Apart from these three champions, there are leaks about three other champions: Vex, Diana, and Pyke. These aren't confirmed yet, but we have added the images for their leaked packs below:
More details about Unleashed, including the full champion roster and card reveals, will likely be shared closer to the May release date. For now, the splash art is the only official information we have about the set.
Riftbound: Vendetta (Set 4)
- Release Date: Late 2026
Vendetta is the fourth set for Riftbound and is expected to launch in the second half of 2026. This set is particularly important because Riot is aiming to unify the global release dates starting with Vendetta. Currently, Chinese releases happen a few months before English releases, but the goal is to have both versions launch simultaneously by the time Vendetta drops. However, Riot has said that logistics are still being worked out, so this plan could change.
The splash art for Vendetta was also shown at PAX Unplugged, and it features Akali, Ambessa, and Mel. This is the first time Ambessa and Mel have been mentioned as potential champions in Riftbound. Like Unleashed, we don't have a full champion roster or mechanic reveals for Vendetta yet. Riot will likely start sharing more information about the set a few months before its release, probably around mid-2026.
Riftbound: Radiance (Set 5)
- Release Date: End of 2026
Radiance is the fifth set for Riftbound and will close out the 2026 release schedule. This set is the most mysterious of the four, as Riot didn't reveal any splash art or champion details at PAX Unplugged. All we know is the name and the expected release window at the end of 2026 in Q4.
More information about Radiance will probably be revealed after Vendetta launches, giving players plenty of time to learn about the set before it drops. For now, it's a placeholder on the roadmap with no confirmed details beyond the name and release window.
Riftbound Roadmap Overview
Riot's plan for Riftbound is to release four sets per year, keeping the game fresh and giving players new content to explore every few months. The 2026 Riftbound roadmap looks like this:

What's next for Riftbound?
With Spiritforged launching in just a few months, the focus for now is on that set's preview season and organized play events. Card reveals are happening throughout November and early December, and the Pre-Rift events will give players a chance to try out Spiritforged before the official release.
After Spiritforged launches, attention will shift to Unleashed and the May 2026 release. Riot will likely start teasing Unleashed in early 2026, with full card reveals happening in the months leading up to launch. The same pattern will repeat for Vendetta and Radiance, giving players a steady stream of new content throughout the year.
