Riot Games has started revealing Overnumbered cards from Spiritforged, the second set for Riftbound, launching December 12, 2025, in China and February 13, 2026, in English. The set will include 30 Overnumbered cards total. Unlike the first set, Spiritforged's Overnumbered cards aren't just legends. This time around, you'll also find Champion Units and Gear cards with the Overnumbered treatment, giving collectors more variety to chase.
Card reveals started on November 21, 2025, with teasers appearing across Riot's official social media channels and through media partners. We'll be updating this article regularly as more Overnumbered cards are revealed throughout the preview season, so bookmark this page and check back often.
What are Overnumbered Cards in Riftbound?
Overnumbered cards are special collectible versions of cards that feature exclusive artwork and premium treatments. These cards are numbered beyond the standard set numbering, which is where the "Overnumbered" name comes from. They're much rarer than regular cards and are highly sought after by collectors.
In Riftbound, Overnumbered cards come in two versions. The first is the artwork-only edition, which features art created by a specific artist. The second is the signed edition, which includes the artist's signature on the card. According to Riot Games, one in ten Overnumbered cards will be signed, meaning signed versions should appear roughly once every 360 booster packs.
Spiritforged marks the first time that Overnumbered cards extend beyond just Legend cards. You'll now find Overnumbered Champion Units and Gear cards as well, which opens up more possibilities for collectors and players who want premium versions of their favorite cards.
